Warner Leisure Hotels - Cricket St Thomas Croquet Lawn

Our hotels offer exciting break options in some truly stunning locations. We have nine hotels in the UK and our properties include beautiful Grade I listed stately homes and manor houses. Warner also has four coastal villages offering some wonderfully romantic settings. Relax in one of our historic suites with free-standing baths, huge oak sleigh beds and stunning interiors. Our Victoria Suite bathroom at Thoresby Hall Hotel has two roll top baths side by side facing a TV screen, a quirky feature perfect for this Valentine’s Day!

59% of Brits plan on celebrating Valentine’s Day

Throughout history Warner locations have been backdrops to great love stories. At Littlecote House Hotel Henry VIII spent time wooing Jane Seymour and at Nidd Hall Hotel there is a room named after Wallis Simpson, the sweetheart of Edward VIII who abdicated the throne to marry her. Cricket St. Thomas Hotel is a beautiful Grade II listed mansion and it’s no wonder Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton were regular visitors here. With 13 locations across the UK, you too can enjoy strolling around the beautiful 160 acres of landscaped gardens. Have a look at our YouTube video to see more by clicking here!

We’ve made sure our menus are extra special too. Treat your partner to a fine-dining experience at one of our restaurants such as The Orchard, at Holme Lacy House in Herefordshire. It has been said that Italian food is the favourite dish for men to prepare for their loved one on Valentine’s*, so why not treat yourself to a cosy table in Fenochhi’s courtyard restaurant? Throughout dinner there will be strolling musicians and special Valentine’s themed decorations.

35% of diners find Italian cuisine the most romantic on Valentine’s Day.

Ladies, when you step into the restaurant for dinner on the 14th at Sinah Warren Hotel you’ll be given a long stem carnation and at Holme Lacy House Hotel you’ll find a beautiful red rose waiting for you.

Red roses mean: “having respect and courtesy for you”.

Guests that book before the 31st will receive an additional £10 off per person as an extra treat. Warner has thought of all the small details and with three-night breaks from £195 per person there’s no better time to enjoy a romantic trip away! And don’t forget that you can save up to 40% off a magical Easter break if you book now.

To get you in the mood we’ve put together some Valentine’s Day facts that you can use to show off to your loved one. Have a look at the infographic below and see if you can learn a thing or two about the most romantic day of the year!

Valentine’s Day

Special Valentine's day breaks at Warner Leisure Hotels

Treating yourself and your partner is surely what Valentine’s Day is all about, so why not let us spoil you this February? Nothing will help to put you in the mood for romance like champagne, sensational food, attentive service and beautiful surroundings, and with our Valentine’s weekend breaks, you can have it all.

Remember the last time that you had some spare time to go out for a romantic walk? Do you recall when you last sat down for a delicious candle-lit meal with a loved one? It’s all too easy to get caught up in the hubbub of life and forget how important it is to spend some quality time together. Well, how about making the decision to have some fun this Valentine’s Day? And to put you in the mood, we’ve come up with some extra-special themed short breaks.

Teams at each of our 13 hotels and coastal villages have designed a range of three and four-night Valentine’s breaks that will provide the perfect opportunity for you to relax, but have lots of fun too. If the songs of Michael Bublé are enough to send a shiver down your spine then why not enjoy a Valentine’s weekend to remember at Corton Coastal Village in Suffolk, where a stunning tribute act to the Canadian crooner will be performing. Head to Holme Lacy House Hotel in Herefordshire and you’ll be able to lose yourself in 20 acres of beautiful parkland, enjoy a beauty treatment at the hotel’s spa, or sample the freshest British ingredients at the AA rosette-awarded Orchard Restaurant.

Or perhaps take a trip to North Wales and spend a night on the dance floor at Bodelwyddan Castle where you’ll be able to sway to the sounds of the Bee Gees tribute group playing all the band’s favourite love songs from How Deep is Your Love, to Islands in the Stream.

If you really want to spoil someone, what better way than by organising a special surprise. We’ve come up with a range of options including dinner packages that include a chilled bottle of champagne, a personal message from the hotel and even a disposable camera to ensure you’ll have a lasting record of your romantic evening. And for those who’d like to relax in private, we can organise luxury room packages, which include extra special treats from the finest chocolates and fresh flowers to a bottle of wine and savoury treats.

Take some time out for yourself this Valentine’s Day and come and join us at one of our properties where you can guarantee love will certainly be in the air!

There’ll be much more information appearing on the blog soon about what you can expect from our Easter holiday breaks and summer holidays in 2013, so be sure to check back soon.
