Mrs. Hunt calls Warner’s Nidd Hall Hotel her “home from home”

Hello!

My name’s Hannah and I’ve recently started at Warner. Over the last few months I’ve been on a great adventure visiting all the different locations we own around the UK. Take a look at our new TV advert by clicking here which gives you a flavour of what we are all about!

Our country hotels are set in acres of stunning grounds, while our coastal hotels capture all the comfort of a quality hotel with traditional seaside surroundings. Finally, our coastal villages offer chalet accommodation that have that real cosy holiday feel. I haven’t got a favourite property myself, yet, but I’d like to share with you an amazing story about one of our guests who puts Nidd Hall Hotel in Harrogate right at the top of her list!

As you probably already know, we’re proud to provide our guests with top-quality food, cracking entertainment and of course sumptuous rooms. I’ve been lucky enough to sleep in every type of room available and, believe me, we have some lovely squashy pillows! That’s something Mrs Alma Hunt knows all too well. She’s been a friend of ours for many years and there’s no way I can compete with her on how many times I’ve visited Warner. To date we’ve welcomed her to stay no less than 210 times and Mrs Hunt says her favourite location for weekend breaks is undoubtedly Nidd Hall Hotel in North Yorkshire. Nidd Hall offers a perfect mix of stunning grounds covering 45 acres and a hotel filled with fascinating history and plenty of opportunities to relax and soak up the scenery.

Mrs Hunt Room

Mrs. Hunt’s cherished room at Nidd Hall is a Historic Room with stunning views out to the lake, a huge bathroom with a roll-top bath and a gorgeous, vast original fireplace. The room is in the Main House and she has requested this room on the majority of her visits. We wanted to show how much we looked forward to seeing her each time and decided that as a sign of recognition and thanks for being such a loyal guest, room four and its accompanying private parking space would be renamed The Hunt Room.

Asked why she’s recommend Nidd Hall particularly, she said: “Everyone is friendly. The staff are polite and helpful and its very good value for money. They have got everything.

Mrs.Hunt was over the moon to have been surprised by the Nidd Hall team manager on her arrival at the hotel recently and shown her personalised plaque for the first time. She loves room four and has spent many happy times with her late husband at Nidd Hall over the years. Mrs Hunt comes back regularly to visit the friends she’s made and to enjoy

birthdays, Christmases and special occasions with the Nidd Hall team.

As she puts it:  “I’m not going anywhere else for a holiday… I’m too well looked after here.” Alma and Rob

With plenty of walking opportunities, rifle shooting, a nine-hole putting green and a beautiful maze garden to explore, Nidd Hall is a fantastic place to come for spring breaks. The team are looking forward to inviting other guests to achieve the 200 stay milestone!

I’m proud to work for Warner and think it’s amazing we have guests that love what we offer so much that they come back time and time again.

Here’s Alma and our very own Rob Jenkins, the General Manager at Nidd Hall Hotel enjoying some champagne!
