Exploring the beauty of God’s Own County

North Yorkshire is rich in wildlife, impossibly beautiful landscapes and historic buildings. Alternatively, walkers can travel 40 minutes north of Nidd and find themselves out on the North York Moors, another spectacular part of the country, covered by ancient woodland, wild moorland and beautiful stretches of coast. Like the Dales, the moorland here is home to a huge variety of wildlife and the area has been confirmed as a special protection area for merlin falcons and golden plover.

A short trip to the spa town of Harrogate is a favourite day out for many guests who come to stay at Nidd Hall for a Warner adult break. Filled with historic buildings, including a stunning Edwardian concert hall and a Victorian style Turkish baths, the centre of Harrogate is also home to more than 20 antique dealers, boutiques and award-winning restaurants. Of course, you might want to mix things up and have a few days enjoying the splendour of the 45 acres surrounding Nidd Hall.
