The Team at Littlecote are delighted to announce they now have a brand new shop for you to explore called “The Potting Shed”. Plants, garden signs and other quirky outdoors pieces are now available and all made by our talented Head Gardener called Grovesnor-Russell Allen and his team. His team is made up of: Brian Powell, Mark Iles, William Palmer, Liam Patrick and Miguel Garcia-Reina who all work really hard to keep the gardens beautiful places to explore or relax in.
Grove has worked at Littlecote House Hotel since 1997 and looks after the 113 acres of grounds. He manages his small team and is very creative in his role. He has also produced gardens for the Chelsea Flower Show as well as making various Moss sculptures of animals & insects around the grounds here for guests to enjoy. We feel really lucky to have such a gifted member in our team.
Most of the pieces are made by Grove using natural materials found in the grounds of Littlecote. Grove says: “I really like making things by hand; I’ve always been really creative. I think this offers guests something a little bit different and allows them to buy a trinket which reminds them of their break or maybe a present for a loved one. Knowing they are all eco-friendly and handmade hopefully will appeal to them too!”
Fancy a stroll before dinner? You are now able to go for walks slightly later in the day where the entire woodland path is covered with fairy lights to light the path. Grove is creating a quirky and interesting experience for all which allows you to enjoy the gorgeous grounds and explore new areas. Littlecote House Hotel also offers Garden Tours which will show you the story of the grounds from quirky shaped hedges, ages of the trees and top tips for guests to remember for their own gardens.
