Whichever one of our 13 coastal and country locations you decide to visit, you can be sure of being able to round off your day of activity or relaxation with a sumptuous meal. Mouthwatering desserts are our specialty and if you’re a fan of puddings then you’ve come to the right place!
September might be here but there’s talk of an Indian summer and we’ve got plenty of light and fruity desserts on the menu which are perfect as a refreshing sweet course. How about indulging in a baked lemon meringue cheesecake served with a raspberry compote that’s just bursting with summer flavours? Or perhaps a typically English scone with delicious jam and clotted cream? Another fantastically light and fruity option is our strawberry and mango mousse served with white chocolate sauce and a poppy seed syrup.
When the nights start to draw in there’s nothing better than a hearty pud to put a smile on your face and really round off a meal in style. A classic syrup sponge pudding is always a fantastic option – especially when teamed with steaming hot vanilla custard. Got a sweet tooth? Perhaps you’ll be tempted by the chocolate and caramel terrine with milk chocolate sauce and salted caramel cream!
And don’t worry if you’re sticking to a gluten-free diet either, as we’ve got some great options, such as our summer berry pudding or milk chocolate brownie. Our head chefs are adamant that a menu without gluten should never mean a menu without choice!
Puddings aren’t for everyone of course, and you might prefer to opt for our chef’s cheese board featuring a selection of delicious local and continental cheeses, celery, grapes and biscuits. How about a nice glass of port to go with that, or a pot of our new Arrossa coffee – just bursting with flavour!
