You’re in the right place.
Our new TV advert shows you what we mean.
At Warner, we’re looking for like-minded people. You know the type.
The people whose glass always seems to be half full.
Last week a few Team Members from the Marketing Team went to Alvaston. We were so delighted to see the changes made and thought the atmosphere was simply electric. With so many people dancing, enjoying their delicious meals and generally having a brilliant holiday.
Just returned from another excellent weekend with friends at Alvaston Hall. We’d read the earlier reviews and so might have been a little concerned. But we had no reason to be. The temporary marquee for the Diner-Cabaret, politely called ‘The Tent’ by the resident entertainment team, will be a thing of the past when you read this review. For the record and to show our appreciation to the team the dinners and breakfats in The Tent and the weekend’s entertainment were of the usual high standard. Only those staying at the hotel will get the significance of Regina whose presence alone provided several running gags. The after-dinner cabaret in the newly styled Fountain Bar was good and the drinks reasonably priced. The welcome on arrival was good and we were soon esconced in Room 197 in The Limes – see our advice below, plus my photo of sunrise from one of the windows in this dual aspect room. We looked on enviously at the new Grove Cabaret-Diner to be officially opened on Monday 2 December 2013 and a quick tour showed us what a delightful addition it will be – again see my photo taken as the fit-out was being completed. For those in construction, Pochin have ‘done a great job’, as they say. Finally, we’ll be back next year and that should be a recoomendation it itself. Well done to all the team from start to finish.
I read an interesting article about iPads keeping grandparents closer to their grandchildren, even if they are a long drive away. Sometimes it can be hard seeing the grandchildren as often as we’d like to. But with iPads you can use an app tor ead them a bedtime story, play games and all you need is the internet connection and of course the iPad.
All 13 Warner locations are different and unique in their own way. There is one thing that remains the same wherever you go and that is the warm and friendly Team. It is really touching to see the amount of “Thank You” letters and cards we get each week.
I’m really excited to share that we’ve had many requests for guest blog posts. Although not written by me (Hannah, from the Warner Marketing Team) they will all be linked to Warner.
If you’d like to get in touch to write a post why not e-mail me? Hello@warnerleisurehotels.co.uk
Many of our hotels have a rich and varied history, with everything from ghost stories to royal visits littering the past of these beautiful buildings. And Alvaston Hall, nestled near the Cheshire town of Nantwich, is no different as it’s been through its fair share of alterations over the past few hundred years.
