Hopefully you’ve managed to settle back down after Christmas and have managed to have some time just for you. Our guests often tell us that cooking is something they like doing with a partner for friends when they entertain. Warner have launched their 2nd series of “Warner Masterclass” which will give you step-by-step recipes from our Head Chefs with fresh local produce which you can re-create at home in your kitchen.
It’s a great time to start planning your Valentine’s Break and get yourself in the good books! Warner takes care of you and your loved one this Valentine’s Day. The best thing is it’s adults only with no kids allowed, meaning you can simply relax and enjoy your break. Warner wants you to remember what it was like when you and your partner first met, going out dancing, laughing all the time and getting dolled up and treating yourself to dinner. From dinner in award-winning restaurants, spa treatments, waking up in a cosy four-poster bed and romantic wine tasting; this year we have wrapped everything into a package that is sure to make you smile!
Littlecote House Hotel is located in the Royal county of Berkshire, this stunning Grade I listed Tudor property is full of charm and character. Take in the fresh crisp air whilst exploring the stunning landscaped gardens, patios and secret spots. Or, grab yourself a hot drink and relax in the Great Hall. There’s plenty to try here – from tai chi to snooker and our sauna. If you fancy exploring the local area, take a trip to the Roman city of Bath or the ancient wonders of Stonehenge.
We have just returned from a 3 night weekend break at Nidd Hall. We were in a Signature Rom (111) which was spacious, bright and clean. We overlooked park land and the lake. Our deal included lunch, as well as breakfast and evening meal. We were never hungry and the meals, which were of high quality, were served beautifully by friendly, well trained staff. There were plenty of activities to choose from, taking place in the hotel and the grounds. There was also a lovely pool, all included in the cost. The evening entertainment was of a high standard also. Our weekend theme was 50/60’s and we all enjoyed the professional nature of the musical show. The only gripe I have was the actual booking. Our party age range was from 60 -90yrs. Mistakes were made with our accommodation and last minute changes had to be made. I would say if you have any special requirements it is worth ringing and checking they have been correctly interpreted in the booking. Would go back again though.

Producing fantastic food every single day is what our head chefs and their teams care about above all else. Now, thanks to a new online video series, you can have a peep into the kitchen at Warner’s country houses and coastal villages up and down the UK to discover what goes on behind the scenes, and what exactly goes into creating some of our most popular seasonal dishes.
