Enjoy the events hosted by the Thoresby Estates’ whilst on your break with Warner Leisure Hotels’ Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire. With an array of exciting events for guests over the next few months from a car show to a country fair to visit.
From 1 – 2 March the Thoresby Lawns will play host to the annual Thoresby Country Fair where guests can peruse the local crafts, sample some local delights at the food stalls, owl display and an eagle show. Plus guests with a love for four legged friends will be treated to a working dog demonstration organised by the Blythe Gundog Club.
On 12 and 13 April, the Spring Foodfest will be held in Thoresby Hall’s Courtyard and guests can wonder around the Real Food Fair trying some of the culinary delights on offer. There will also be a Kitchen Theatre for those budding chefs looking for inspiration.
The annual Thoresby Cycle Fest will follow shortly afterwards on 17 and 18 May. Guests will get to watch a unique display where hundreds of cyclists race penny farthings, unicycles and bicycles of all shapes and sizes. Guests can even join in if they want to, they can bring their own bikes along
Guests who are Jaguar enthusiasts will be delighted to hear that on 22 June in honour of the Jaguar Club’s 30th birthday Thoresby Hall will be having a special exhibition of Jaguar and Daimler cars from the 1920s to the present day. On 29 June the East Midland Festival of Transport will show off its collection of classic cars and bikes on Thoresby’s lawn.
